WORKPLACE TOOLBOX TALKS

Greater Bendigo Snake Control offers in depth, qualified and educational snake safety information sessions for workplaces, teaching employers and their staff how to manage and prepare for snake encounters in the workplace, on or off site.

 

Components of these sessions include how to respond to a snake encounter, risk assessment, local snake species of the area, species identification and behaviour, and snake bite first aid management.

 

As well as learning about snakes, our “Toolbox talks” give staff the opportunity to view a range of venomous snakes up close in a safe and controlled environment.

Staff are provided with a basic snake safety information pack to take home.
